Fanuc A06B-6050-H401 AC velocity control unit. This triple axis analog drive was used in lower end small machine tools. As Fanuc’s first attempt triple axis it was relatively successful and still fitted on CNC machines today being 30+ years old. Consisting of a wired power section and a triple channel VCU control pcb A20B-1001-0770. Also available is fuses, transistors, and AC servo motors driven by this unit.
These drives being analogue were also fitted with other controls beyond Fanuc. Commonly found with Heidenhain controls on Colchester lathes and various other CNC machine tools.

At DNC we take the part in strip, clean, dry while doing priliminary inspections looking for burns / blowouts. The part is then passed to our drive engineers whom do bench testing of the circuits inside. At this point the drive is either obviously faulty (we will contact you with prices and options) or functioning with no problems then we charge a clean and test fee.
Lastly intermittent faults as described within your accompanying fault report or as described in coversation can be problematic to observe; nevermind repairing.
